30 Day Song Challenge: Day 2!

Alright, so for the second day of the 30 day song challenge, the prompt was my least favorite song. I didn't have to think hard about this one...at all. My least favorite song is Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke.

Blurred Lines isn't even worthy of a link, plus you've probably heard it already, so here's breadfish instead

So here's why I don't like Blurred Lines. The line isn't blurred. Like, not even a little bit. Let us count the ways in which Mr. Thicke is a creep.
  1. You should never force yourself on someone, sexually or otherwise. No sir, I don't want it. Go away.
  2. I'm not an animal, and I don't need you to liberate me. I'mma just liberate myself from you, sir.
  3. No, he's not my maker, and neither are you.
Ok, the lyrics are grossing me out now, so I'm just gonna stop. Sorry for the short post. Tune in tomorrow for the next song. hopefully it's less gross. Also, bonus points if you finished the Breadfish song.

30 Day Song Challenge: DAY 1!!!!

To inspire myself to write more, I decided to do a 30-day challenge! The goal is to write one post daily, but I don't know if that'll happen. So, carrying on!

Day one of the challenge is my favorite song. My favorite song changes on, like, a weekly basis so this one was hard to decide! But, I finally picked Into Your Veins by Five Iron Frenzy.

I love this song, mostly because of the brass part, but I also love the lyrics. I mostly just love 5IF! This track's off Engine of a Million Plots, which I'd have to say is their best album yet. It sounds more mature and speaks on some very serious topics, but it's still kind of light-hearted and comical. So, that's today's song! Tomorrow, I'll tell you about my least favorite song.

It's Been WAAY Too Long Since I've Posted!

Hey guys, I've got a few minutes before I leave for choir practice so I thought I'd catch up with you guys! Since the last time I posted, I've turned a year older, learned to sew, started and finished Star Trek: The Original Series, read my first comic books, and giving up on knitting twice. What hasn't changed is my annoying habit of writing stories in my head. I've got something in the works about Star Trek that might come out in the form of a script instead of a story. I've also started Almost Human. How great is that show!? So you'll probably see some AH related stuff soon. Well, it's almost time to go! Talk to you soon!
